Summer in the City is a truly full blast, on-the-job training and discipleship in the depths of inner-city ministry. Every Summer, we team up with church mission groups like Clay Center Christian Church from Nebraska, Prestonwood Baptist Church from Dallas, Texas, St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church form Houston, Texas,  YWAM (Youth With A Mission),  FUGE camps(part of LifeWay), "Soul in the City", St. Mary's mission group from Texas A&M among other wonderful groups of people and Summer Interns from colleges and high schools all across the U.S. to spread the Gospel in some of the worst areas of Houston's inner-city.

Join us this Summer and minister the Gospel and love of Jesus Christ to those who have been all but rejected by much of today's society.

Fulfilling the “Great Commission” by going to the people of Houston and making disciples teaching them all that Jesus commanded us.  As an intern you will be a part of their lives and will learn to use a variety of tools to minister to the children and see breakthroughs in their lives!  You will learn what it is to live in a community of believers as you partner with us on a mission. The internship program is tuition free! We provide at no charge to the intern, community-style accommodations and daily meals. We are looking for people who love God and who are hungry to serve Him.  This will not be an easy road to take but it is a rewarding one. You will undoubtedly learn a lot about yourself and who God has made you to be!
