Positioned to serve by Vicky

I really believe that this semester God wants to do something INCREDIBLE in Houston! We have been positioned as a ministry to be able to reach more than ever this semester and I am ready to help fulfill that vision. But wait! I'm getting too old. I have taught Sunday School 4 times a week for the past 14 years, led Bible studies, conduct workshops, trained people, coordinate events, so what's left to do?

Have you noticed that the Lord ALWAYS has an answer? :)  He let me know that there are always “lands” left to conquer. "There are children to tell stories to, younger women who would love to hear about your history, sick people to visit, prayers to pray, people who have yet to hear the Good News. You’re never too old to tell others about God’s love."

Once God sends you to a place to serve, He has already positioned and equipped you with all you'll ever need. He tells us in Psalm 92:14 that "They shall still bear fruit in old age."  God has a plan for each and every one of us and if we will earnestly seek Him every day, He will not only show us His plan for our lives, but He will live it through us. We serve an amazing God!

God wants us to live out our life in a meaningful way. And the single best, the most meaningful way to spend these better years of our lives is by serving the Lord. You too are positioned to serve!

Psalm 71:18 "Now that I am old and gray, do not abandon me, O God. Let me proclaim your power to this new generation, your mighty miracles to all who come after me."
