![]() While I was on my visitation route with the team heading towards one of the last apartment doors in Palomino place, we noticed a loud discussion was going on between a man and his father-in-law about politics, I did not wanted to be part of it, neither did I want Nurr or Miranda to get involved but the more time I took talking to a girl I was inviting for our Thursday CAT meeting the more the Nurr and Miranda got involved in the conversation, I thought oh no! I noticed that the argument was getting heated. Miranda and Nurr were talking with the man’s wife, I thought to my self “Let’s go!” So I told Miranda we’re leaving she came and followed me and then I got to Nurr and I said “I think we should go” she was still talking with the lady, but what I really meant was “let’s get out of here!” I expected Nurr to understand to follow and leave, she did glance at me as if she heard me but she kept talking and the debate was not getting any better, what started about politics was now heading towards “who was the most humble” I was thinking all kinds of things, “we can get hurt, I can get beat up, etc..” yeah, I was nervous.
One thing led to another we were now inside praying for the wife, I was off in understanding why we were there but God graciously used us to be a difference in this lady’s life, I know this because she testified that she had been crying out to God the night before asking “WHERE ARE YOU?” that’s when I told her about the disciples crying out on the boat in the middle of the boisterous storm and Jesus was fast asleep” She was very touched. What an experience! God had shown me that I should not trust in my own understanding in situations but to be sensitive in what the Holy Spirit is leading me to do, to trust In “The Lord With All My Heart and lean not on my own understanding!”
