![]() "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace and bring Glad Tidings of good things!" - Romans 10:14-15 Visitations at Palomino Place were such a blessing we were able to spend a few hours ministering telling the kids about Jesus and even playing with them. It was a wonderful time in the Lord! Along the way God send someone that would encourage me. As I was walking with some children a man named Gregory was sitting out on the front porch,
he began to tell us all the things God has done, his hardships in his life, when he lost his wife and son two months apart but in all this he continues to Praise Jesus and continues serving God with his whole heart. God has even restored what has been lost and brought him a new wife and they are now happily married and serving God together. After sharing his testimony he began to think of earnestly for teaching the children of Palomino the word of God. He stated that the problem was with the children of this generation is that not many people sit down and teach them things of God and he was sure God was present because we were there ministering to the kids and teaching them from the word of God. So many times I get weary and sometimes discouraged not sure whether the children are receiving what we tell them of the Lord but every single time my heart gets discouraged, God sends someone unexpected to tell me to continue on teaching the children and I know that this is the Lord speaking because he has chosen me to teach the children and I will continue to do as He commanded me. Psalms 78:4-8 "We will not hide them from their children, showing to the generation to come the Praises of the Lord, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he has done. For he has established a testimony in Jacob , and appointed a law in Israel , which he commanded our father's , that they should make them know to their children: that the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children: but they might set their hope in God and not forget the works of God but keep his Commandments and might not be as their fathers a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not steadfast with God."
